A Circuit Court in Accra has granted a GHC100,000 bail to a private security man by name Bless Amedegbe for inciting the public against President Nana Akufo-Addo. Ghanaian child - Akufo-Addo The 24-year-old security man is facing a charge of an assault on a public officer as well as False Communication, contrary to Section 76(1) of the Electronic Communication Act, 2008 (Act 775). He used social media to incite arson against President Akufo-Addo. The young man, however, denied the offences.
