The counsel for Bishop Daniel Obinim, Ralph Poku-Adusei, has explained why the pastor was rushed to a private hospital after his bail from police cells.
According to him, Obinim has a peculiar heart condition which needed urgent attention of his personal doctors at the private hospital.
He said the doctors at the Police Hospital could not contain the situation, therefore, it was needful for them to transfer him.

The lawyer reportedly stated that the condition of the Police Hospital was not suitable for Obinim and could not guarantee his health.
“We had to transfer him to that the doctors can work on him so that he can get back to normal life. He has had a heart condition for some time now and only his private doctors can manage it,” Lawyer Poku-Adusei said.
He further accused the police of Kaneshie for frustrating the efforts of those who went there to bail Obinim.
The reports were haywire that Obinim was still in police custody for failing to meet his bail conditions.
He was arrested and charged with forgery and publication of false news.
Obinim is also under investigation for other accusations levelled against him
